I just received a small shipment of new plants. The shipment includes 3 Chinese Elms, 3 Fukien Tea, 3 Ficus and 2 Mini Jades. I received them on Wednesday and soaked them in water for a about an hour that day. Up to this point I have kept them under my patio and haven't really done anything with them at all. The plants came from Florida and I am in Alabama so there shouldn't be much of a temperature shock or anything. Does anyone have any suggestions on how long I should wait before starting to repot, prune and relocate to more permanent positions. Not only how long but suggestions on what order to do those task and how much time between each would be helpful. For pictures of these plants visit www.StinkDog12.comThanks in advance for any advise. Brock

Brock, Being in a warm area you should be good to go right now. Repot them, if desired, light branch trim, light root trim all at once. Keep out of direct sunlight for a week or two and then transition to full sun, if thats OK for your trees. Fertilize them after a few weeks. Jades, no water for 2 weeks after repot. Jerry PS nice batch of trees

Thanks again for the advise Jerry. I will probably start repotting process on the plants in the next few days. They seem to be really healthy I am excited to start working on them. I just didn't want my excitement to rush me into doing something that was not healthy for the plants. Thanks Again Brock
